 MED-S Cetrimide 1% Solution is a powerful detergent and disinfectant solution for general skin disinfection in first aid use.

 Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic and surfactant that is used for disinfection and to sterilize.  Cetrimide has antiseptic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Cetrimide works by affecting membrane permeability allowing ‘leaking’ of essential cell constituents leading to cell death and hence treats infection. Cetrimide has also shown to be effective against some viruses.
